Closing Mechanisms for Ring Binders and Lever Arch Files

The illustrations show the most commonly used closing mechanisms for ring binders and lever arch files.

A- Wide lever arch mechanism
B - Narrow lever arch mechanism
C - O-ring mechanism
D - D-ring mechanism

Lever Arch Mechanisms
The closing mechanism of a lever arch file has two rings that open with a lever. The lever arch mechanism is easy to open and close.

All Bantex lever arch files come with oval, metal reinforced openings at the front cover which clasp on to the lever arch mechanism when you close the file. This means that the lever arch file can stand alone, without support.

O-ring Mechanisms
The closing mechanisms of ring binders often have two or four round rings which are opened by pulling apart the rings. Binders with this round ring mechanism are ideal for storing papers that you want to turn over easily as in a book.

D-ring or Combi-ring Mechanisms
Thanks to the D-shaped rings, papers in such ringbinders will lie in a straight stack. Thus, they are easy to turn over and well-protected against wear and tear.
